Biographical
Lorrie began full time dispute resolution in 2010 after practicing law for 15 years and serving as a Circuit Court Judge in Memphis, Tennessee. Lorrie mediates all types of matters including complex commercial disputes, medical malpractice, employment law, personal injury, premises liability, estates, construction, business matters, class actions, and products liability.
Lorrie started an ADR practice in Memphis and then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in late 2014, where she worked with The Mediation Group until summer 2019.
Prior to taking the bench, Lorrie litigated a broad range of matters, focusing largely on the same areas she currently enjoys mediating. She tried many jury trials to verdict in both federal and state courts and argued cases in the 5th and 6th Circuit Courts of Appeals. Lorrie also served as an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law for six years. She is a 1982 graduate of Wake Forest School of Law.
